    Default Starr rehab question

Hello, Last Monday I strained my pec while benching. No pop, just a wierd pain during my 3rd set. So I stopped and didn't bench anymore last week and it got better, felt 100% yesterday. So yesterday I benched and warmed up as normal and on my 1st work set it felt fine, but on the 4th rep of my second set i felt the pop. I stopped there, but did my normal light overhead press sets. So there is no bruising, minor pain that radiates down my arm a little bit. Doesn't inhibit normal movement. So my plan was to not bench next week, but still work everything else, then add bench back light and like 3X10. I came here and searched pectoral strain, and found the Starr rehab method. Seems like what I need to do.

So my question is this: It says NO OTHER HEAVY WORK. I assume that means no work out period, not just no bench work. Is this correct, or can I continue other lifts?

The original idea was no other heavy work at all, but that was for the sake of trying to heal the injury for an important competition. I'd train everything else after you do the 3 x 25 for the bench. Do not wait a week to start this, just 3 days, and start very light.
