Ok guys, please dont flame me for this as Im sure its been asked before. I just cant think of how to word it for a search.
I just started SS, so im not doing PCs yet. But when I get there, I doubt ill be able to do 135 for working sets. Even if I can, the warmups will obviously be less.
I dont have bumpers, so how does one correctly assume the starting position with smaller diameter plates?
Please dont post the iron plate problem video as Ive seen it and it doesnt answer this particular question.
    Thnx for the help

Put the plates on something to raise the bar up to the standard height.

I used two cinder blocks. I made sure to lower the weight, not drop it, as to not damage my bar.

The PC teaching progression addresses this: You lower the bar to the deadlift starting position and go from there.

You then go to Rogue and buy 10 lb full sized bumper plates.

    Thnx guys...much appreciated.
Honestly, stacking plates or books or whatever to the correct height is kind of a hassle. Ive done that before when the only weights I had were Ironmaster DBs.
I think Ill just spring for a 160lb bumper set.

    Thnx again guys

Some people cut 17.5 inch circles from plywood, with a 2 inch hole in the middle.
