I've read through many threads and websites trying to find an answer to what heel height is appropriate for a 6ft 5 tall person with long femurs who is low bar squatting and doing power cleans. Any ideas on the brand of weightlifting shoe and height of the heel I should get?

Why should heel height be different? Do you have trouble hitting proper depth barefoot? How long have you been training? Your squat style? Budget?

Generally for the SS model of the lifts a heel of 0.5" is recommended. However, there are very few, if any, shoes that actually have a 0.5" heel - most are at least 0.75".

I would try and avoid a heel of greater than 1.0".

Get ones that fit your feet in a color you like. Problem solved. You're not the only tall person lifting and you're not the only one with long femurs.

I'm 6' 7" and squatted in 1 1/4 heels for a year. I got them because they were cheap and I was doing only front squats for a while because of an injury. They worked for LBBS, but kepted me a bit too upright for my tastes. I am not squatting in flats (Asics Throwing shoes) and like it better.

Height isn't the only factor torso length makes a big difference too.
