I'm going to order the Titan T3 41 Folding Rack for my space challenged garage.

Titan Fitness T-3 Series Fold Back Power Rack 41" Deep Wall Mounted Laser Cut

I don't like the 50" width, so I'm going to have the pull up bar cut down. I ordered the 1.25" bar. The rack is out of stock until 9/16. I plan to have the bar cut down in the meantime.

Titan 1.25" Diameter HD Pull Up Bar For T-3 Folding Power Rack 49.5" Wide

I was planning on having 2" cut off the bar. This will take the rack from roughly 50" to 48". It looks like this will still be wide enough for the rack to fold inwards.

If anyone has done this, please confirm.

Yes, someone in the garage gym thread did this. Murphyreedus maybe? But yes. It's fine.

I did it on the 23" foldout rack.

I like the rack, but the folding is pointless. It's a pain in the ass, IMO.

Also, be aware of instructions with the 1" hole spacing at the top vs. the bottom.

Ya, they inverted the uprights on the normal t3 instructions.

I need the space, so I hope to get it very level to make folding easier.

My concern is that the 41.5 won't fold inward if I cut a full two inches off the bar. Given the specs I think it will work. But I wanted to confirm.

You can fold the uprights inwards, outwards, or one in and one out. Up to you.
