Mr. Rippetoe, I had a small milestone today, during the third week of doing the S. S. novice program. A good share of the credit for this milestone goes to you.

My 1 R.M. back squat prior to starting the program was 275#. Today I squatted 275# for 3 sets of five (at a body weight 195). Now, I know this is not a huge accomplishment, but I felt pretty good about it, so I wanted to say thank you.
