Sounds bogus to me too. Of course you could conduct your own scientific testing--unless you are averse to tonic water.
Hi all,
Heard something today that I need verified or denounced. A coworker of mine stated that her friend believes that muscle soreness can be avoided/alleviated by drinking tonic water prior to working out? Sounds pretty bogus to me-she said her friend swears by it but oddly enough could not back it up with any science. Hmmm.

If you drink tonic water instead of working out it might just help.
LOL Bergie
Tonic water has quinine in it which can be helpful for leg cramps. It wouldn't be a huge stretch to see this being mis-interpreted as being helpful for DOMS. I've seen much worse.
I'd add gin to it if I wanted to test the theory
I heard bull semen cures DOMS and ED.
Murrie's tonic water
Kate's Lime
Stlrph's gin
Now we have a party!
