    Coach Rip,

I have been training the SS program for two cycles and have gotten really strong very fast, thanks! My question is that lately I have stalled on two of my lifts, the press and the power clean. I was wondering, should I be concerned about specializing on the two lifts? Or do you think it best I keep driving up my weights in the other lifts, squats, bench and deadlift, with the hope of some strength carry-over?

    Miguel

If anyone else has come across the same issue I would welcome your feedback as well, thanks.

Most people find that the smaller muscle-group lifts stall earlier than the squat and deadlift. Normal deal. Just program them accordingly.

How would you program them accordingly, coach?

I didn't quite understand that statement

If the stalled lifts need to be shifted over to intermediate programming while the other lifts stay on a linear progression, that would be appropriate.

Don't forget to microload. You won't be able to sustain 5lb jumps on the press, clean, and bench for very long, but you should be able to make 2.5lb jumps for a bit.
