Zuluglove's evolve style belt is great for the price. Only problem is that it's quick release buckle is so good that you'll never want to use anything else.

I got a zuluglove one that I like. I use the 4th tightest hole (probably about 12 holes I can go looser) and the tail is massive as a result. So I probably got one that's too big for me because there's a lot of extra belt that flaps around (not really a prob tho)
Define "affordable".
I got a Titan Longhorn Quick Release belt from Pullum Sports and love it.
Comes with a lifetime guarantee on all parts, think it was £105, shipped.
Sam, I don't think you need at this point. However, if you get one, I'd look for one that's IPF approved, 4" (100mm) width and 10mm thickness and single prong. Don't buy cheap, buy quality - the difference is a few bucks (at least in the US). I made the mistake of buying a 13mm lever belt and that sucker is still breaking in over a year later and I need a screw driver if I want to try different tightness, etc.
If you don't heed the advice above and want 'the best', then SBD is arguably that: SBD Apparel (£164.99). Again, I'd go quality 10mm single prong though. I'm not familiar with options in the UK besides SBD.
Ok cheers chaps
Got the modfit 4 inch 10mn double prong quick release. It's very good. I don't like the large logo though. Really like the double prong quick release.

I just got a Gunsmith Fitness belt from amazon for <£40. Gunsmith Fitness Premium Handmade Weight Lifting Belt - 4" Wide by 10mm Thick - Single Prong Heavy Duty Adjustable Powerlifting Belt in Vegetable Tanned Leather: Amazon.co.uk: Sports & Outdoors
Not tried it yet (it arrived today) and I don't expect perfection at that price, but I hope it'll be useful to me (I'm a beginner too).
