    6'2", 205#, male

first day back at the weights, all felt easy enough:

    skwat 165 5x3
    bench 135 5x3
    dedlift 185 5x1

planning on increasing presses (& snatch and c&j) by 5# and the others by 10+# per session for a few

too tuckered to lift on friday after a brutal week at work, i fell asleep on the couch for the entire evening. i planned to lift following day. saturday morning just before lifting i forcefully moved wrong and pulled a muscle in my upper back/lower neck. i can't stand up straight but today it feels a little better. i'll probably be out of lifting for tomorrow too. it happened at the best possible time work-wise however as i have monday and tuesday off. see you around, barbell...

    Back up and running

I missed Wednesday's workout due to injury too. Still feel it today but I had to lift. I also got a new keyboard, which is awesome, so I don't have to use that stupid on-screen keyboard anymore. I figured that should have a place in my training log..

    Squat- 210
    Bench- 145
    Deadlift- 225

I did the same workout as last time thinking I was going to re-do the weight. When the time came I realized I wasn't having it. All went well: squats felt nice and deep, focused on low-back on my third set as I felt a sharp pain but worked through it. I feel the form dialing in again. Was weary about the bench as I could feel my neck/back muscle when I laid on the bench and even more so when I was weighted. No problems though, sensation went away by my work-sets. Deadlift was no problem. Good to go.
