I've been starting to wear a belt for my deadlifts and squat, and the damn thing has a metal buckle that pinches/digs the shit into my groin when I am in the down position. This is very distracting. Am I doing something wrong, does the belt just suck, should I go out and buy something better?

Can you put up a picture of yourself wearing your belt?

Sure, but it will be a few days. Right now I am borrowing a gym belt (not ideal)

The belt is tight around my waist, the top of the belt about even with my belly button. I'm not gonna lie, I have a bit of belly fat, and As my hips bend, the metal buckle descends and pokes into the top of my pubis, about even with the Acetabulum.
