    I'm pressing about 195, squatting about 385, deadlifting about 500, can do 18 chins. How about you?

    I'm benching 225 , squatting and DLing about 340 , can do 9 chins. I don't press/chin. I'm also about 1/3 your age and a bit lighter.

    Rip, how much strangth did you lose when you stopped taking steroids? I find it amazing that you, given your age, still deadlift 500 - I have seen the vid on Youtube, impressive.

    How often do you do the lifts to maintain these numbers?

    I ask because it's helpful information to use in conversation with a couple of acquaintances who don't want to do SS/Barbell-Heavy training because "That Rippetoe thinks he knows training but isn't jacked".
