Default Sourcing good iron plates in the UK

I just purchased a Leoko PL barbel and I'm looking to buy machined iron plates, with bored (not cast) holes.

Unfortunately, the York "Standard Olympic Barbell" plates offered in the UK are vastly inferior, Chinese made and we cannot get our hands on the Canadian "Legacy" plates at all.

I really like the look of the Ivanko OM plates, but again, they're not available here.

To the UK forum users, what do you recommend? I want to buy once, and buy rrrrrright.

    Thanks!

(not interested in rubber bumpers as I don't plan on doing any o-lifting)

But if you can't get decent iron plates then these would probably be the next best thing - whether you plan to bump em or not. Expensive though.

If its a good quality casting, why machined holes? Can you tell if a plate has machined holes vs a good quality cast? Eg: Rogue Olympic Plates - Cast Iron - Weightlifting
