    Default Deadlift 285 - haven't spent to much time looking this over

    I'm primarily concerned with my squat technique, probably because i do it three times a week following SS. But i would really love to get my deadlift up and the common issues i usually have are: Not setting up close enough to the bar and lifting my chest up high enough. The last rep in this set is the only time i think i lifted my chest up enough. I also hook grip if that has any bearing on my form.

    Those look okay for the most part. Make sure you drag the bar all the way up your legs. Long socks will help with this. Consider wearing your lifting shoes when you pull, too.

    i've questioned on keeping my lifting shoes on while deadlifting, i was worried it would put me too far over the bar, 'll be sure to try doing it in my shoes. That same advice was given to me recently from a PL i met out in CO, since you can drag it up your leg more comfortably.
