Short Back
Mark-
In a recent post, Gary Gibson mentioned having a short back. I have recently realized that my back is short based on the model Lon Kilgore presents in "The Measure of Man." I also have a bad habit of GMing my work set squats. Is this related? Will my knees have to come farther forward than usual to keep the bar over my mid foot? Or is it more likely that the weight is getting too heavy and I'm letting my chest cave? Thanks in advance.

No, your back will have to be more horizontal to keep your weight balanced on your feet with the bar over the mid-foot. Most people try to defy their anthropometry and squat with an upright torso, and for short-backed people this is especially hard to do. Just get strong in the position your body needs to be in to do a balanced squat.
