    Hi Mark,

I have been training (for powerlifting) all year exclusively in a pair of old wrestling shoes that I own. They are thin soled and make a great connection with the ground. However, lately, some of the lace loop holes have started to rip, and the grip to the floor has been wearing away. Its time for me to invest in some new shoes.

The issue I have been struggling with is if I should get weightlifting shoes or just another pair of wrestling shoes.

I've read a few posts about long femur'ed people having trouble with the heel in weightlifting shoes and I have a long femur (6 foot 2 inches tall). Also, although my wrestling shoes do have a slight heel, I'm concerned that the heel of a weightlifting shoe maybe high enough to alter the mechanics of my lifts.

Basically, I would greatly appreciate your opinion.

Get the low-heeled shoes from Rogue that we talked about on the recent thread about shoes.

    Default yes sir

I think I'm ready for a set of rouges. I've been lifting in Chucks for a while now and I like em, I just want to see for myself how well those rouges can help.

When www.roguefitness.com sells things, they generally do it on their website.
