Anyone heard of paramount barbells? A guy on craigslist has one that appears to be a bare steel bar with some age on it. He says its Paramount brand.

Yeah that was the only thing I could find on the internet. Here's a picture of it:

Here's the link to some pics. It's the one on the ground:

Oh, I have a full power rack and two other bars. The two bars I have get a little bendy and soft feeling at poundages over about 350. So I am looking for a stiffer power bar and hoping to get one cheap.

If you want a stiffer power bar why not one of those slightly thicker bars like 31mm?

Theres no way of telling if this is stiffer without trying it.

If all you need is a new bar, Jesup Gym sells an economy power power that is decent quality for something like $160 shipped.

If you want a decent all around bar I'd go with something from Rogue Fitness. I've got one of their bars and it's awesome.

The Jesup power bar is 31mm. If you are used to using 28-29mm bars, there is no way you will like using a 31mm.

I don't think I can convince the wife that I need a 3rd bar at this time (even at $160). I was hoping to score something cheap on craigslist.
