I started SS back around august, and got patellar tendonitis in my right knee about a month in. I tried working through it for a while, but it only got worse, so I let me knee rest up for a while and then did PT for about a month and a half. Today was my first time squatting since then.

    These are sets 2 and 3 (155 pounds...felt embarrassingly tough D: )

    Set 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VbIStIW3Pbk (back 3/4)

    Set 3: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KunIyNaxr4o (front view)

I think what killed my knee before was a wider stance. The stance here is shoulder length, and is much narrower than I ever squatted before (i'm thinking too wide a stance put tension that should have been on my adductors onto my knee). The only thing that concerns me is the little bit of fluttering my knees do in the front view.

    Thanks.

Squats look good. I wouldnt worry about the fluttering. The current stance looks right, hopefully your knees will be ok now. If the pain comes back, you may want to experiment with shoes. If you are currently wearing flat shoes, try a heeled WL shoe. Or vice versa.
