Default Proper anatomical cue for "normal" hip tilt?

How do I know if I have "excessive" anterior pelvic tilt? Are there any anatomical markers for a normal hip angle? If one does have "an excessive anterior tilt" should you squat/deadlift correcting for this with an exaggerated posterior tilt?

What is the normal hip anthropometry with regard to its "tilt angle" (for lack of better terminology)?

It all varies with anthropometry, and the degree of anatomical lordotic curve you have. Sorry, but there's a lot of normal variation. And the appearance varies with your bodyweight and lumbar muscle belly thickness.
