    • starting strength seminar jume 2024
    • starting strength seminar august 2024
    • starting strength seminar october 2024
    Hey Andy,

    Been choppin real hard at LP for a while now and failed the squat at 322.5x5/3/2
    All other lifts are continuing at 3x5

    I was at a different gym then usual and had to do a fair bit of manual labor the day before.

    1. Should i give 322.5 another try tomorrow, reduce the weight increases to 1.25# or switch program?

    2. If i should switch, do i keep trying for LP and just make my middle day a light day, or switch right over to the TM?

    3. If I switch over to TM, should i do so only for squats?

    1. Give it another try if you really feel like there were external factors that led to your bad workout

    2. First step is always just to institute a light weds workout while continuing to progress Mon/Fri

    3. Yes, only switch squat to intermediate program if all other lifts are progressing.
