    Hey Coach!

I have been bench pressing almost forever (im 50yrs old) and I am very right side dominant. Injuries and aches tend to occur more on the dominant side which I think means I work that side harder on heavier sets. Now that I am seriously doing the other lifts per Starting Strength, should I consider this asymmetry at all?

Ignore it and just lift? Exploit it somehow? Or work towards balancing the two sides? If so how?

Any insights would be great! Thanks!

The two sides will balance if you make every rep display perfect symmetry. The weak side will have to catch up. There is no way to use unilateral exercises to get this done.
