No he said he's done with the sport for now. He's not a million miles away from breaking the wrapless total record as a SHW though.

His time used to be split between olympic weight lifting and strongman in the past with an occasional powerlifting meet. Since he's done with olympic lifting, he's focusing on strongman and powerlifting at the moment so I think he still has more to give. On top of that, his 360kg squat now looks noticeably quicker and smoother than his 360kg squat from 4 years ago and his top bench press at this meet seemed like an opener. Furthermore, he's deadlifting more weight during this full meet than his best deadlift at a deadlift-only competition a few years ago.
Even if he can't manage to add the 78lb needed to break the record total, he'll get very close.
It's hard to tell from the angle, but is that a high-bar squat?
Definitely.
If only he were weaker, he could do the Olympic lifts faster. Do more technique work and don't lift so heavy, Koklyaev.
Misha has so many amazing lifts it's hard to pick a favorite, but this one always completely blows my mind:
Basically the big reason he can't do OL lifting, according to David Rigert, was he never showed up for drug testing, as in, gave the wrong address for his house to the Russian anti-doping agency. Obviously strongman and powerlifting don't drug test, so yeah. He's got high potential for Olympic lifting. He's done a 270kg jerk behind the neck, and a 240kg snatch balance. I'd even venture to say he'd be on par with say, Taraneko or Pisarenko or the other old Comm-Bloc people. But, drugs cannot be used in the same manner as "the old days."
As far as the comments of squats and deadlifts slowing down the Olympic lifts, this is a silly conversation. Using Rip's argument of Shane Hamman vs Rezazedah, supposedly Rezazedah stopped trying to get his squat up once he got to 400KG. Even Taranenko said he "only" squatted 380kg with a pause. So Shane Hamman would have been pretty much the best squatter in the entire Olympics whenever he was there. He lost because he was bad at clean and jerks and snatches, not because he was bad at back squatting.
Anyway, wish Koklyaev luck. Wish the politics of such things were different. If he got an Olympic gold, and did strongman and powerlifting, he'd pretty much be the best strength athlete around.
