So, after waffling around and re-starting the program a few times, I'm gonna give this a serious go.
(All weights are in lbs.)
I'm a 36 yo male, 6'3", 420 lbs.
These are the max 3x5's I've done throughout the past 6 months of starting and stopping the program.
Squat: 140
Press: 70
Bench: 85
Deadlift: 195
Power Clean: None.
I've tried to learn the PC several times, and I am either being a wuss, or I have a legitimate anthropometric racking issue, as I have long forearms.
I'm gonna give the program another shot starting 2 or 5 days from now. I'm gonna deadlift every workout until it hits 200, then I will start power cleans. (or power snatches)
Nutrition-wise, I'm not gonna bother to get too crazy. I'm just gonna eliminate sugared beverages, stop gorging at vending machines and secret fast food runs. I'm not focusing on weight loss. I figure increasing my strength while eating roughly maintenance calories with sufficient protein, I'll stay about the same weight, but as I get stronger, my muscles will grow, and my fat will shrink.
