I started my workout understanding that last problem was over come with a 5 pound work set increase. Instead of 10. When i got to my work set it was just too heavy. I unloaded it from the racks twice but with out a rep knew it was too much.

What information do you need to give me advise.

Did you go from getting 5 reps to getting 0 reps in the course of one workout?

Sounds like he didn't attempt a single rep.

This is mental and not physical if you are taking appropriate jumps from workout to workout. A 5 lb jump does not cause a lifter to go from 5 reps to 0 reps.

I think you probably need some coaching. A little outside help in the technical aspects of the lifts, your programming, and your mental approach.

    Where do you live?

Read this thread and watch the linked videos before you lift next time.

Try to get in touch with Michael Wolf and get some coaching and programming help. There are other SS coaches in NY too. Look in the coaching directory and find someone who lives close to you. I just happen to know Wolf better than the others.
