Need to figure out your broader goals first. What is your priority? Strength? Physique? Overall conditioning? Sports?
My squat is 280, my annual high was 295 for my 5rm.
My dead lift is at 300 and my annual high was 310.
My press is 150 and my annual high is 155.
I need to goal set for the first 3 months or 6 months of 2014.
I started in may at approx 195 I'm now 220 in November.
Is a 350 squat a 6 month goal at this point or a 12 month goal.
Is a 400 dead lift a 6 month goal or a 12 month goal.
What do you make of the press. I'm stalling at 152.5.
I can see the 400 dead lift in 6 months as feel i could do 320 or 340 for 5 as of my last work out.
The other two I'm unsure about.
Any advise as i approach the need for intermediate training?

Strength has to maintain the first priority. I been invited into a boxing club but I'm probably not going to go. If the intermediate program allows for something like jogging or sports I'd add those when i feel i want it if i should wait until I'm at and advanced stage i can do that depending on how long the intermediate phase is designed to last.
Intermediate training can be designed for whatever you want. And the phase is designed for as long as you can make weekly progress.
I think a thorough reading of PPST3 will help you tremendously.
Didn't you tell me that wasn't out yet?
When weekly increases stop does one move to monthly.
Also, when that happens does a person keep working at the same 5rm for 4 weeks before adding weight or is there special loading patterns?
