Is it normal for someone who started out high bar squatting to be weaker in the low bar squat even though you're suppose to be able to squat more with low bar? I use to be able to squat 205 with high bar but now I am struggling to get 190 using low bar. My deadlifts are also relatively weak. Is it because low bar squats work different muscles and that my posterior chain is still weak compared to my quads?

Yeah I wouldn't worry about it since you are 3 workouts, or 5-7 days, away from 205.

when I converted to low bar, it took several months to get the form correct. Keep in mind you body is learning new motor pathway.

Squat with an Elite FTS Yoke bar for awhile and LBBS's will feel like you're cheating.

The same could be said of squatting blindfolded while small children beat you with wiffle bats, but that doesn't make it a superior exercise.

I don't have a yoke bar, but I have kids and bats and a blindfold probably costs a dollar whereas a yoke bar's somewhere around $350. Good recommendation, in many ways. Thx.
