Default GLC Pioneer Phantom wrist wraps - Am I using this right?

So, I've just bought a pair of GLC wrist wraps, and these are different than my current wraps which use a thumb loop. These have a loop, but apparently not for the thumb.

The only way I can get them on is by putting the entire end of the wrap through the loop. It works, but it seems like repeatedly doing that will put a lot of stress on the loop's stitching. Am I doing this right or am I missing something?

I don't ever use the thumb loop on my wrist wraps, I just pinch the upper corner of the end with my index finger and the pad of my thumb, it is much faster.

Interesting. I'll have to try this. I have stubby fingers though, so for it too work, the wrap might be higher up the wrist than it should be, but I might be able to get it to slide down and still maintain tightness.

I'll record you a video of how I put them on when I get home.

Thanks Cody! I tried both and think I like the under method better. I just wish there was a longer strip of the velcro loop so that I could pull the hook end tighter and not have it be detached at the end.

I've got both the old and new style phantoms. The old one had a longer, single strip (which I liked), but the new one has some better stitching.

If you let more of the velcro from the first revolution or two "peek through" (don't cover it with the next revolution) and you pull the final wrap up at an angle, the velcro will actually secure across both layers, which I believe is the idea. I don't think it's any more secure than the old style and takes a bit of finesse to get perfect, but once you've done it a time or two it's no big deal.
