I'm not interested in bodybuilding, Marty, so I'm sorry, I just don't care about this program.
Hi Mark. So happy I've found this forum. I've been advocating your writings/teaching to all of my friends here in Canada. I own both versions of starting strength and i own practical programming. I did the novice program (with the power cleans, i didn't wuss out for some strange reason and do rows) for 6 months, then went on to use the advice in PP and made a program that went by weeks.
week 1
monday (heavy)- squat 3 X10 bench press 3X10 deadlift 1X5 dips 2 X15
tuesday (medium) - squat 3X10 dumbell bench press 3X12 rows 3X12
thrusday (heavy) -same as monday
friday (light) - front squat 3X12 incline bench press 3X12 back extensions 3X15
week 2
monday (heavy) - squat 3X10 press 3X10 power clean 6X3 chins 2X15
tuesday (medium) - squat 3 X12 dumbell press 3X12 shrugs 3X8
thursday (heavy) -same as monday
firday (light) - front squats 3X12 dumbell press 3 X12 push press 3X12
but that didn't seem to be working so well for me. keep in mind that I'm going for mass now, not so much the strength, more hypertrophy. is that program even close to good? any help at all mark would be fantastic. im currently doing an upper lower program. but any help with making a bodybuilding program for the intermediate lifter would be fantastic. thanks.
