    I saw someone doing bar humping overloaded barbell curls last night. We've all done them at one point in our lifting lifetime, right? I'm not too ashamed to admit it. But I started thinking that this seems like a close relative to the power clean. You use your hips, legs, back and if you don't go fast enough to carry through the momentum, you miss the lift. Do you consider overloaded humping curls a power movement?

    One point in my lifting lifetime? shiiiiiiit... that was probably most of my 20s. It didn't get me very far, I'm just glad camera phones weren't around then.

    I used to lift with a guy who "curled" 225+ that way, but brought the weight down slowly in a controlled manner. Dude had some serious guns.
