Why do I need a platform for squats?
Well, you need a platform for deadlifts and cleans, and you might as well do your squats on it too.

My concrete floor is both flat and rigid for squats.
I made a reduced-area platform for deadlifts and cleans that works fine.
I just wondered if there was something inherently bad about concrete only for squats.
I still might upgrade my platform to 8'x8' some day.
Thanks
