Checked my log. It seems, I deadlifted 5 plates after 8 months of training. Approaching 1.5 years since then... I really need to hit 600 lbs soon.

    5 20's or 5 25's?

Just remember small gains = big long-term gains.

5 20s. Had it been 25s I really would have been slacking since then

With the correct programming you'll get there before you know it.

Did Jordan tell you to say that... ; )

I think what happened was I didn't really have anyone to push me above that point. When you're deadlifting 4 plates, you do see quite a few regular guys pulling more than you in the gym. When you get into 5s it's a much rarer occurence. Plus my squat was almost 80 kgs lower at the time - so it took precedence I guess.

Finally, I was doing TM, so I was always deadlifting in a pretty exhausted state.

    Deadlifts and GPP later...

Man you are really dedicating a lot of time to lifting lately. You are going to blow by a 200kg backsquat well before summer if you keep it up.

Three days a week like always.

I've just found my day is a lot easier if I take a break around noon and get some lifting done. Means I can get to bed an hour earlier as well.

Truth be told the hard part is to do the conditioning at the end. I always feel like skipping that to save some time.

Ha! Reminds me of an update on ATG. He posted a guy in Denmark doing a 280kg FS and prefaced it with "Meanwhile in Denmark … (I think that’s a first)"

    You're definitely making awesome gainzZz.
