The only colour I avoid is a red shirt when I do squats or beam down to the planet.

I keep a detailed log on a cloud spreadsheet
Did a reset on squats, 275 and working back up with better form.
I have a swelling on one elbow, bursitis I assume. If it doesn't clear up I'll have to see the doc I guess.

Cardio day. Walked to the firehall and back in the rain. Did a HIT interval set on the treadmill.
Starting some serious cutting efforts for a month or three. My weight has crept up to 197 from 180, and it's not all muscle. Not acceptable for a guy with heart disease.

Well, my doctor greased me out over the weight. Orders are to be 185 when we meet in August. No problem, well on my way. He said to take it easy on the swollen elbow, so just full body lifts tonight.

Have you checked out the nutrition forum? Jordan's article "To Be A Beast" is good reading.

Actually, except for boozing a bit on the weekend, I'm on those macros now. Dropped 4 pounds in a week. Great article and solid advice.

Still giving the elbow a break, so since I DL'ed Friday just squats today.
Did a video, and realized by perceived depth is worse than I thought. Dropped back to 135 and working back up with measured depth.

    287.5/5/3
    135/5/3
    145/5/3

Friday night I Did squats 286.5/5/3 and then just started an interval run on the hamster wheel when we had a call for an apartment full of smoke. I ended up going as attack captain due to slow turnout of officers.
This taking it easy at 59 with a rebuilt heart doesn't always work out.
