    Hey everybody!
Finally I've decided to open my log here and maybe get some advice about from this great community and share my journey.

    Some background:
32 years old male from Italy (born in Poland).
    85kg - 183cm
Mostly I have been lifting "3x12" style whole my life after I've decided to start some more serious strength programs.
Did Stronglifts 5x5 for about 15 months (with some breaks).
Next week I am gonna start SS where I left SL and I'll try share my experience here.

    Current lifts:

    Squat 5x5x82,5kg
    Deadlift 1x5x90kg
    Bench 5x5x65kg
    Press 5x5x50kg
    Rows 5x5x55kg
    Power Clean (still learning)

    See ya in the forums!

Welcome. In proper Latin should that be "fora"?

I'll follow along and probably comment from time to time.

    Thanks Carson.
In Italian "welcome" you will say "benvenuto"

    Cheers

    Default 84 kg

    Squat 3 x 5 x 82.5 kg
    Press 3 x 5 x 47.5 kg
    Deadlift 1 x 5 x 95 kg
    Hanging leg raises 2 x 8

    Good workout.
God some creatine pre and 40 gr of whey protein post.

    Notes:

    Squat
Lost a bit of balance in 2 reps not sure why.
Improved my form thanks to the tips presented in this video: Lower Back Position Control with Mark Rippetoe - YouTube (Not getting entirely the "dick" tip )
Still not getting it completely but I think I am on good path.
I am not sure if it is better to squeeze lower back and core up on the lockout position or down "in the hole" to keep the spine tight during the squat.
Also back has to be a little arched if I am not wrong?
Any tips would be really appreciated.
Also wider grip and the trick "chest up and elbows back" seemed to work pretty well.
Still have to check if my bar position on the back is correct.

    Deadlift
Seems that I can set Up pretty well to the pull and 1st rep always seems great but then if I get back to starting position for the second rep the bar is a bit away from my shins.
Any ideas how to fix it?

    See you next time!

Welcome, concrete. Saw your question in the other thread. You already realize that you'll need to video the squat to get it checked by the coaches. Looking forward to seeing you get it sorted.

Show a video of you DL. Are you bending your knees on the descent too early thus forcing the bar away from your shins?

    Back with my log!

    Good workout.

    Squat 3x5x80kg - 3min rest - 8 warmUp sets
    Bench press 3x5x70kg - 3min rest - 6 warmUp sets
    Rows 3x5x60kg - 3min rest - 1 warmUp set
    Chins 3x5xBW 2min rest

    Notes
Squat. I think I finally getting the whole valsalva maneuver trick. Felt stronger and more stable in core and lower back during squats. Also putting the bar a bit lower that usual seemed great.
Next time gonna record my squats and check them here because you never end to learn squat
But today I was happy with my form.

Bench press was ok. Felt strong and stable on the bench. But definitely room for improvement here.

Rows. This is last week of rows then I switch to power cleans (still learning the movement) and standard SS program (with chins on Clean days and Dips on deadlift days)
Also keeping air in the belly with strong support on abs, obliques and back 60kg seemed light

    Default 85 kg

    Squat 3x5x80kg
    Press 1x5x70kg
    Deadlift 1x5x100kg

Squat a bit out of balance (video incoming). I think this time I've put the bar too low.
Not good press. Missed reps. Gonna really review my form (video incoming)
Decent deadlift. I think i got the trick to position lower back correctly. Got problems keeping bar in straight line while unlocking (video incoming as well).

For now I'm sticking with those weights without increasing till my form is 100% perfect.
Will add assistance (dips and chins) from next week.

Uploaded some videos here: Form check thread
I would be thankful if You could give me some costruttive feedback.
