    DTFP day one:

    1 Squat 95x3x5
    2 Bench 95x3x5
    3 Power Clean 45x5x3

starting weights are medium for me. not too heavy or too light but i might have to start microloading my bench sooner rather than later. GOMAD is working well so far. I gained 4lbs since I started on Monday and my face is already filling out.

Welcome. Could you introduce yourself? Age, height, weight, male or female? Are you also doing DL and Press?

Is it normal programming to do the power clean so early?

    Welcome aboard!

    It's very unusual.

Hey guys thanks for the comments.

I made the decision to skip daily deadlifts because I don't think that progressing like that would be worthwhile for me. I will be able to get more momentum going by alternating power cleans and deadlifts. Good question!

    2/27

    1. Squat 100x3x5
    2. Press 45x3x5
    3. Deadlift 100x1x5

    3/1

    1. Squat 105x3x5
    2. Bench 102.5x3x5
    3. Power Clean 47.5x5x3

Made the decision to microload my bench, press, and power clean. That should extend my novice progression on those lifts. I have already switched to power cleans half the time so my deadlift progression will be extended too. Squats may prove to be the wildcard here.

Welcome. It is good to see you are actually interested in training, not exercising in an attempt to improve your 1-legged running jump over a chair nonsense!
