Advanced Novice from Germany
Hey everyone,
so here is my Advanced Novice SS Log.
I'm from Germany, male, 26 years old, 5'10" and about 91kg / 200,6lbs. I train on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
I count kcal every day and eat about 3500kcal now to gain some weight.
Train at my little homegym with my girlfriend.
Last two workouts
Wednesday 11th May
Squats 3x5 148kg / 326lbs
Press 55kg / 121 lbs (reset from 60kg / 132 lbs, work with microloading 1,5kg / 3lbs)
Cleans still learning (I'm new to this, and try not curl the bar with my arms)
Chin-ups 3xfailure 12 10 8
Friday 13th May
Light Squat 2x5 118kg / 260lbs
Benchpress 3x5 85kg / 187lbs (reset from 95kg / 209lbs, work with microloading with 1,5kg / 3lbs)
Deadlift 1x5 170kg / 374lbs

Squats 3x5 150,5kg / 331lbs hard but good [emoji1]
Press 3x5 58kg / 127lbs hard next time only 1kg more
Cleans learning, got my arms rotated but not close enough to my body
Chin-ups 3x5 +12,5kg / 27lbs great I like to do them one time failure and next time weighted

Shit, something was in my head maybe bad sleeping or it is time to do a reset?
Benchpress 3x5 86,5kg okay so far...
Cleans learning ellbows sometimes go out at the jumping position

Advanced Novice from Germany
From yesterday
Light Squats 2x5 124kg with belt
Bench Press 3x5 89,5kg
Deadlift 175 3x
It was a good day.
Because of holiday and my girlfriend and me where in the big city going to a barber to make a new beard and a nice haircut.
So we where the whole day on feet about 10 hours. Came home in the evening, chill a bit and then go to training in the cellar. That was at about 8pm.
I've never trained at home at this time. But it was okay. Squats felt great because of light and I decided to wear a belt on light days because that's make the light Squat to light Squat and not to a heavy one.
Bench went far I've tried to breath every second rep but today I realized and read it again in the great SS book and here in the forum that I can take a big breath at the beginning of the set and try to hold it.
Next time I try this out.
Deadlift where hard and I got a bit tired and angry of the heavy weight. Next time it will be better.
Today I feel sore in my back and my shoulders. Have a look if tomorrow is possible to do Squats and Press
Eating is at about 3500 kcal a day and weight went from 91kg to 93,5kg today.
I think it is between 92 and 93kg about.

Arghhhh, Squats only 3 because they where hard the reason is maybe the long weekend and the work in the garden yesterday who knows...
Press with 61kg went fast but also hard
Cleans learning today with 30kg
Chins began to became difficult have a look at next sunday maybe 20kg and then only 1,0kg more instead of 2,5kg jumps
