But today was a good milestone day for lifting.

Hit 3x5x135 for squats! Reps 4 and 5 were a grind on all 3 sets so I may need to switch to 5x3 soon. But for now I'll keep at it till I actually fail a rep.

BP: 3x5x95. PR I think or darn close. Lost my records from last LP.

Deadlift: 1x5x200! Finally in the twos! Super excited about that!!!
Congrats on all those PRs! And congrats on adopting a dog!

Adopted a boxer, which I just love for their silly antics. We think she is somewhere between 2 and 4. So old enough to be housebroken but young enough to still want to play.

Congrats on the lifts and the dogs. Have adopted three rescues over the years and they are fantastic.

So I was a slacker and didnt push the sled this past week. Probably should do it twice this upcoming week as mea culpa.

I did make it into the gym tonight. Delightfully not too crazy hot.

Squats: 3x5x140. Good news that the weight didn't feel any heavier than 135. But geez. Hadn't filmed myself in awhile and there is always so much to work on. Knees out, farther out. Don't squat too deep and lose tightness. Don't squat too high. Get tighter. Keep chin down. Keep back angle consistent. Sigh... today I just stuck to knees out.

Ohp: 3x5x54. I find it hard to get excited about the small 1 lb jumps but it is progress that will add up over time if I am just patient.

Then did chins. Really got to learn how to do cleans one of these days.
