I've bookmarked this thread, I'm going to come back here whenever I ever feel discouraged. Love seeing the persistence and progress.

    9/29/2020 Tuesday + 7 days

    Press 42x5 93x5 103x4,3 misloads and fails
    Squat 45x3 135x1 193x0 155x0 full of fail

OK, got pretty beat up doing lawn work. The press felt close. The Squats did not.
Managed to do "something" and I feel a lot better for it.
Did not want to push a bad position.
Suspect I'll try roughly the "last successful workout" in 3-4 days.
I saved my deadlift for next workout. I was also tapped out energy wise, for no real good reason.

Some days your the windshield, some days your the bug.

0.83 mile timed walk. 15:11 mile pace: 18:18 prior pace was 22:03, prior best was 21:03

We know that there are no more USSF competitions for this year but we don't know if there will be one in the spring. I wonder if another association is planning a meet in the Chicago area? Have you thought about that? I think I will take a look.

USAPL has one in Saint Louis on April 23
WPC has meets in Lombard on Nov. 13-15 and Dec. 11-13 but I doubt that I'm available.

I've asked the USSF but they have nothing scheduled anywhere. I guess there is not going to be much push back against the Gestapo's orders. I wonder if the Lombard events will actually come off.

    LOL, well done.

    Tue 10/6/2020

    Press 42x5 103x5x3 +0
Squat 45x3 135x1,3,3 this was a scheduled warmup weight, lots of pain
Dead 135x3 205x3 another reps at last warmup weight

Fun week, felt like crap. Got tested. Nothing.
Very sore. Might have been "projects" around the house.

Was very happy I went through the motions, without injuring myself.
On the plus side I've learned to make hard apple cider from Rip's video the other week.
    We'll call that a win.
