Forgive my whining and bitching, I woke up with a cold this weekend. Some fever and back ache came with it. And my groin has been giving me some concern, so I didnt' want to go "heavy" today. My heavyweights is pretty's light for a lot of people... but the bottom line is, I don't want to pull or tear anything. coming back from injury really sucks so I decided to just do an easier training session to put some thing on the books and fight detraining, but not put myself at risk.

Wednesday I pulled a big deer out of the woods so I counted that as a volume training day. Much deadlifting and power rowing to get it up a long hill and out of the woods to the field.
I am 52 today and I woke up planning a deadlift PR. I failed to pull a single at 30 lbs less than my PR. This is training.
BW squats and some foam rolling to loosen up,

I have been trying to drop some fat the last week, until two days ago....I have had two full Thanksgiving dinners. We had a 13 lb turkey, several lbs of venison and a full table of side dishes yesterday with 9 adults and a toddler. There is some gravy and root vegetables left. The rest is eaten. I also knocked down an ample amount of beer, wine, and spirits over the last two days. I have had a fantastic day. Can't always set PR's.
congrats on the b-day!! you know, speeding nice time with loved ones is all the PRs a feller could ever need when all is said and done my friend
