Hard to say but it feels like it to me. My lifts are now
press 3x5 95
squat 3x5 200
deadlift 3x5 250
bench 3x5 160 (last)
I go in for heart surgery next week to close up a hole (25% of people have the hole) that could have caused the stroke. Im not sure how long it will be before I can lift again after the surgery.
My press was stuck at 90 for a really long time so Ive been pressing 3x /week and just doing pushups on the off days instead of benching. I finally broke through today and it felt easy.
my weight is now 182, so Im up 22 pounds from my start. I was originally planning to go to 190, but it wasnt that hard so I might just go for 200.
As a reminder Im doing this all for BJJ. Once I can get to like 300 pound sets of deadlift and like 260 pound squats and maybe 220-250 pound bench Ill be strong enough and Ill start to cut fat. Im happy to maintain at this level.
my surgery is wednesday so if I never post again it means I didnt make it.
