    On week five. Is it normal to hit some walls around this time?

    Squat: 175
    Bench: 145 - was not able to complete all three sets. Set of 3, 4...dropped weight some to finish last set
    Press: 95 - at 85lbs I really started to struggle.
    Deadlift: 195 - Feels like the hardest of the exercises when i got up to 185. Was not able to complete last week's set.

    Hard to say without seeing what you're programming and what you've actually done. You alluded to that in your first post with "trying to work on form and consistency...".

    I know that it's a bit of a time suck, the answers to questions like yours are more easily answered if you post each and every workout. It doesn't have to be fancy, just Weight x Reps x Sets, along with your rest periods between sets. For example, your latest Squat is just "175". We have no idea what that means and leads to 20 questions. Same with "dropped weight some to finish last set". Details, please.

    As an aside, just do the program as it's written. No extra sets, like you described in your first post for your Press and Bench with "5x5". That's not doing the program, which will negatively impact your progress more than you might believe.

    Keep at it!

    Welcome. Check-in person with a certified SS coach. If not that then contact a SS coach who can work with you online.

    Week eight
    Squat = 215
    Bench = 142.5
    Press = 105
    Deadlift = 215

    I got a SS coach at week 3 and it took a few weeks before I got form down. Met with a nutritionist today. With my deadlift being so close to my squat, his advice was to try 200 protein, 300 carb at around 2,500-3K calories.

    Up until this point I have stayed about the same weight wise...have gained maybe 4lbs. BF is still around 33% @ 210 lbs. I'll post more often, but making progress. Have not hit my protein goal consistently up to this point.
