Back after a week of travel, driving and not sleeping well. Light (80% PR) on all lifts. No issues with any of them, which is a relief given how I've felt the past few days. Good to be back.

I feel like coming back from a layoff is a skill just as much as it is anything else. If I had a dollar for every time I’ve forced the weights I’ve lifted and tweaked something I’d have at least a few bucks. Glad to hear you didn’t do that and are smarter than me.

Good work on the return, looks a sensible way to approach and build back up from. Sometimes my ego gets in the way of this good attitude. Keep at it.

Springtime, particularly on even-numbered years, is always an insanely busy time for us. I'm dedicated to doing at least two training sessions per week but it's tough to fit them in and I didn't get one last weekend. Eating, sleeping, lifting and recovering are all tough right now so I've dropped some weight off the bar and will slowly ramp back up as I can.

On 2-28, I felt a tug in my upper back on the first set so I dropped back to 80% for the last two sets. It was uncomfortable the rest of that day but it feels better now so I'll repeat 230 next workout, today or tomorrow.

    Thanks for the encouragement, everyone!
