After some consideration, I have decided to return to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu which I plan to practice 1x per week. I quit a few years ago as a three stripe white belt and I'm excited to return being stronger and heavier!

Still alive. Thriving, even.
Recently I have switched coaches after roughly four months of amazing help from SSC Michael Shammas. My new coach is Nick Delgadillo, who I figured could help me best with my new BJJ aspirations of earning my blue belt.
I've been grappling one to two times per week since the last post, but have also suffered a minor back tweak from a heavy squat. I won't go into much detail as it is almost gone already.
That being said, here's the good stuff:

So far I've been weighing myself weekly on Saturdays and on an empty stomach at the same time. The last 2 weeks I've been stuck between 85kg (~187lbs) and 86kg (~189lbs) of bodyweight. I track my calories most if not all days of the week and seem to be at a weekly average of 4.000 to 4.200 calories, although there might have been 1 or 2 days of 2.700 calories. I'll keep monitoring, and I know that I just have to eat more (which I can definitely do, but do not look forward to doing). Some weights (such as the squat) are getting really hard to face, and I miss deadlifting from the floor instead of pulling from the rack. Presses have been very exciting and I hope to advance them more. BJJ has been going great too. I want to reach 90kg of bodyweight soon.
