Hamstrings tighter than piano strings today. Maybe from deadlift day. Once I started squatting I could tell they weren't fully recovered. Pushed through the workout even though it took forever and a Saturday, literally, lol. Two forced rest days coming up on Monday and Tuesday. Still want to push linear progression out as far as I can.

Life threw a few curveballs so today was the first day back in the gym since 7/14/2024
I didn't want to regress from my last weights so...
Squat 290x2x2, 1x1 (PR on weight but only did 5 reps total)
Squat 250x5x2
Deadlift 260x5x3 (85% of PR)
I think I need to come up with a workable intermediate plan for myself now

Weight: 208 lbs. Haven't gained or lost any weight in the past month
I think I came up with an intermediate type program that still focuses on 1-lift a day (intensity) and 1-lift a day(volume)
I will see how it goes. Recovery was rough after the last not very well thought out workout. Took almost 3 days to recover.
Press (Intensity) 125x3x3 - 90% of my Press PR for 3 reps
Bench (Volume) 156x5x5 - 90% of 90% of my Bench PR of 3 reps
Supinated Pull Down 180x8x3

Squat(Volume) 235x5x5 - 90% of 90% of my PR
It feels like I still have room to go with the NLP of my deadlift so I'll push at 100% on Intensity day until I stall out
Deadlift (Intensity) 315x3x2 PR It was cool to see 6 plates on the bar and have it break off the floor pretty well. Still using straps, my grip past 275 breaks down after 2 reps. Just too much nerve damage and pain in the hands.

Got my electrolytes depleted down to nothing by a new medication. Was a painful few days until they were able to get things balanced back out. FYI raw potassium and magnesium is effin' nasty tasting, lol. Pretty tired and crunchy after this so I did:
Squat(Volume) 238x3x9 (27 total reps)
Felt out of breath at 3 so didn't push it, hoping to go back to 5's next time around.
Walked 3 miles at 3 miles an hour
