    the pushing the ground away cue is a good one- but thats not the worst problem- as mentioned, lumbar extension and not keeping your scapula/spine extended tight is really the thing that is fucking you up- deloading until you really feel that difference will serve you better than thinking you are getting better at it, adding weight then getting injured.
    you dont want to do any weight on a deadlift or squat that you can't absolutely turn your back into a rock. dont do that and you will get injured.

    Yeah I just saw a similar thread in mark's Q&A. I thought it was a form issue not a strength problem which is why I haven't de-loaded yet. Next deadlift session I'll find where abouts, weight-wise, my back starts to do this and if I really can't get it to stay extended I'll de-load.
