    Default Volume day form check(SQ)

    • starting strength seminar august 2024
    • starting strength seminar october 2024
    • starting strength seminar december 2024
    Always had problems with my squats and leaning forward too much
    V day was quite heavy.
    This is my 3rd out of 4 sets, weight is 355- after a deload(my highest volume is 360)

    David,

    These are not terrible. I would try focusing on staying tighter in the hole as it looks like you relax a bit and let your knees slide forward on several of the reps. Also, on the reps where you are having the most difficulty maintaining a vertical bar path you are driving your hips backwards out of the hole instead of straight up. Try thinking about "the master cue" from the 3rd edition. This may be able to clean up both of your problems at once.

    I just can't get a good and quick bounce in any other way than letting the knees slide a little bit, I always pussy out and lower the weights, stuck around these weights for like 2 months now, the reset just won't do it.

    I didn't even notice I am driving my hips back, will try to focus on that better and take another video next week(should be 2.5KG more)
