Having trouble getting the bar to the point on my thigh its supposed to touch. It's like I try and think about the movement too hard and then the lift simply fails halfway, or I don't think about it at all and I just power it from the floor and I get it without the bar ever touching my thighs.
Videos are with training sets of 70 kg.

This isn't how we teach the power clean and looks like you need to go back to some basics. You aren't setting up how we'd expect and you're gorilla-ing the bar off the ground.
Here's how you need to set up, but with your hands about a hand-width wider grip.
