    Default Power clean form check

Requesting a form check on my power clean. I have a long forearm/short humerus combo and the front rack has been giving me considerable trouble. I can't swing my elbows up without letting go of the bar and leaving only 2 fingers. Should I widen the grip further?

    Thank you

What’s the problem with only leaving two fingers on the bar?

Your rack looks like mine; my elbows aren’t completely pointed forward at the top. As long as the bar is sitting on your deltoids and isn’t carried by your hands, you’re fine.

I’d like to see these done a hair slower and more intentional. They just look a little sloppy.

    Otherwise, I don’t hate these.

The only thing I see is a slight tendency in the direction of an arm pull. Not bad, but elbows need to be straighter.

Less control directing the bar into the rack position, bar crashing, and sometimes those two fingers slip off the bar. If two fingers is acceptable then I'll just keep practicing and clean up my rack form as best I can.

I agree they're pretty sloppy. These videos came from the end of a long session and I was getting pretty fatigued.

    That's encouraging. Thank you.

I'll work on rotating the elbows in and flexing the triceps. Thank you.
