Thank you sir. How should it feel if the hips are working. My quads and knees get sore which makes me think I’m not using my hips enough and for a big person I feel like I shouldn’t be struggling against 225 in the squat already.
What gets sore can change over time, without meaning too much in itself, so don't read too much into that. As your form gets dialed in and the weight goes up, the right things will get stressed at the right times. The movement is what needs to make sense, not the DOMS.
When is this the SLC gym going to open? I need professional help and that would be my closest geographical option.
