Your feet are almost pointing straight forward. Point them out around 30*

You're right, Jason. It's easy to lift light weights inefficiently, as mentioned in today's article: The Mechanics of Barbell Training | Mark Rippetoe

And your feet still look close to parallel, vs. having your toes pointed outboard at about thirty degrees. Your left foot looks like it's pointed more forward, too.

Damn, ok, I'll keep working the depth at the bottom. I'm having to unlearn the bad habit of going too deep. I agree that my feet are pointed roughly straight ahead with no angle, that's something to work on.

Yes, I'm on Week 5 of SS NLP. I started with 10/15lb jumps on squats/deadlifts for the first two weeks and have been doing 5lb jumps on both since week 3. I agree, that I started a little on the lighter side. I justified it so that I can learn the lifts and stay in the novice zone for as long as possible by not moving too fast through it.

I get what you're saying though about how lifting too light won't help form as much as I might think it is. I've gotta make sure the movements are mechanically correct and it's easy to move a light weight incorrectly...or something like that. Thanks for the help!

Yep, seeing that now. Thanks for the feedback!
