Thanks Rip. Was in a diabetic death spiral, now things looking up
Diagnosed with type 2, double digit A1C high triglycerides, hypothyroid, basically a mess 6 months ago.
Prescribed Metformin low dose statin and Levothyroxine for the thyroid. Lost about 15 lbs (290 to 275) started circuit training... numbers improved but not a whole lot.
Started doing SS with my son in December, sensible caloric deficit, small enough to keep linear progress. At checkup last week A1C was borderline normal at 6%...below 5.7 is "normal" below 7% is "controlled diabetic".
Anyhow this program has really saved my life.
