Hit a personal squat goal
I’m 47 years old, 6’4” , 450 lbs and have been lifting since July 2022(wrongly 5x5) and correctly since January 2023(SS). I started at about 55 lbs and using a stool to squat down to yesterday squatting to about parallel or below for a 5x3 of 315lbs! I know I still have some form issues to work on, the belly gets in the way a bit( I guess it’s a diet issue too), but I feel stronger now than I ever have. Presses and deadlifts are going up as well. I just bought the gray book to figure out my next steps once the NLP is done. Thank you Ripp and all the SS people for all the books, videos, podcasts and forums that help us normal people get stronger than we ever thought possible.
